From Breitbart: Nolte: Democrats Want to Abolish the Police and Confiscate Our Guns

Here is an example of another popular tactic of the Left:

They propose something that sounds absurd, extreme, ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky, and then they work the idea by mentioning it here and there, debating it on the MSM and marketing the idea so that, when they start proposing legislation or otherwise start to implement the idea, it is almost accepted.

That is, they propose the absurd and then ‘normalize’ it through social engineering and political marketing.

Example: Obama talked about a Civilian National Security Force (essentially, a civilian police force…federalized). That sounded absurd and even unconstitutional, yet here we are today, the Left talking about cutting the budgets of local police forces, thereby eliminating them.

The logical question is: If we get rid of our local police, who will provide policing services?

Their answer: A Civilian National Police Force.

A national police force would be military lackeys and may very well attract the worst of the worse. If the Left is concerned that too many police are power-hungry bullies who use their position to vent their racism, then a national police force would attract those who want even more power and who could more easily hide behind the mask of anonymity because, rather than patrol as a local police officer, they would be part of the “government.”

How has that worked out for the TSA, imposed upon us to humiliate grandmothers while allowing young women in burqas to pass by seemingly unnoticed (no thanks to the globalist RINO George W. Bush)?

This would be the beginning of a Soviet-style imposition of the military policing our streets, an armed patrol roaming ceaselessly.

You thought that when they have a bipartisan effort to reduce the military-grade equipment our local police forces have that they were ‘de-militarizing’ the police?

Think again. It is just a tactical retreat before deploying the full military apparatus under the guise of a national police force.

Does that sound like freedom to you?
