Intent

Note (06-Jun-2020): I am in the process of overhauling the layout of this web site by defining and adding categories and subcategories based upon the type of content. This will better organize my writing and make it more easily accessible. I am finalizing dozens of articles and essays that I’ll be posting here over the next weeks.
Additionally, I’m adding to each category a resource section that links to relevant information and other conservative thinkers and the articles and essays and research that they provide that illustrate the marble foundation of conservative thought.
Between the articles I post here and those I link to, the reader should have a solid foundation for understanding and debating the strength of conservative theory, principles, and history.
The intent of this website is to:
— Provide the history of how we as a culture are abandoning Universal Truths not only as an ideal or as the goal (which we acknowledge can never be perfectly discovered) through philosophy, history, literature, legislation and governance, and even religion, but how we have perverted and ridiculed the means of attaining that ideal. In short, we have settled for falsehoods and lies and legalistic and marketing and rhetorical tricks in order to avoid having to distinguish between right and wrong, Self and Other, sacrifice and self-indulgence.
— Correct the errors of faulty or deviously fallacious logic.
— Monitor current events to point to examples of abuses of Truth and, more rarely, where Truth emerges victoriously.
— Link to resources of authors and thinkers that discuss each of the several topics in greater detail and that provide the bedrock of Western Civilization, which was founded upon the quest for and attempt to attain the Universal Truths that gave rise to the greatest nations in the history of the world.
These points are discussed in detail in my essay, Reclaiming Universal Truths.
